Test Data Management Analyst | Contract

Job Scope:

• Develop test scripts, test conditions, and input test data and expected results for one or more test streams including unit assembly application, product integration, product performance, user acceptance, operational acceptance and technical architecture tests.
  
• Develop, update and maintain testing standards and procedures.
  
• Record problems and issues in accordance with the project management plans.
  
• Document defects using the project defect management tools.
  
• Data migration testing and the function of the system as per requirement specifications.
  
• Design the regression pack and critical pack to run on daily basis.
  
• Perform continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) and sanity checks after each deployment.
  
• Understand functional requirements to prepare the test data to simulate realistic scenarios of the functional test cases.
  
• Ensure the bugs are raised with sufficient details for faster resolution.
  
• Closure of user acceptance testing phase with bug closures &
  re-tests.
  
• Plan and perform regression testing for the overall coverage of the tests.
  
• Think innovative and automated ways of doing repetitive tasks.
  
• Writing CRUD (create, read, update, delete) functions on SQL to be able to query in the database.
  
• Use Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools like Azure DevOps/Jira for test case, bug documentation and requirement traceability matrix.
  
• Learn the testing methodologies and lifecycle of Agile process.
  
• Follow defect management process as defined.
  

Job Qualifications:

• Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
  
• Required experience in testing and defect reporting tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, HP ALM.
  
• Knowledge on all phases of software test process including test planning, test design, test execution and test closure.
  
• Good knowledge in understanding of software requirement specifications and identifying required test scenarios.
  
• Experience in executing test cases to test the application functionality against the requirements manually.
  
• Knowledge on generating test scenarios, writing test cases and collecting test data.
  
• Knowledge on defect reporting, defect tracking and complete defect lifecycle using HP ALM.
  
• Good exposure to test management tools e.G. Microsoft Test Manager or Visual Studio TFS for organizing, managing, planning and executing the test scripts as well as defect tracking.
  
• Knowledge on writing and executing SQL statements.
  
• Ability to gather and understand the functional use case requirements of the modules and ability to translate to the functional test cases.
  
• Ability to handle system integration tests (SIT), support users during user acceptance tests (UAT) to execute the test cases and simulate realistic journey of user case specification.
