Urgent: Assistant/ Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive market research and gather market intelligence pertaining to palm oil trading activities across Asia and other countries.
  
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decision-making and trading strategies.
  
• Manage negotiations and oversee the trading process with our partners, ensuring favorable outcomes and mutually beneficial agreements.
  
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to optimize trading operations and maximize profitability.
  
• Draft and oversee the management of trading contracts, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with business objectives.
  
• Provide strategic reviews and recommendations to expand our trading activities and capitalize on emerging opportunities in the market.
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in palm oil/ biofuel/ palm oil feedstock or related business trading.
  
• Broad understanding of the Asian market, as well as experience with other global markets.
  
• Strong negotiation skills, excellent communication skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
