Urgent Therapy Assistant (Min. 4months/Office Hours) Hleb

To ensure cleanliness of ventilators and other respiratory equipment. This includes:

• 
  
• Dismantling and packing of reusable respiratory items for cleaning and sterilization.
  
• Disinfecting and cleaning of ventilator parts.
  
• General cleaning of ventilator mainframe.
  
• Reassembly of ventilator parts and circuit.
  
• Perform pre-use testing on ventilators to ensure function prior to use using a checklist.
  

To assist in coordinating with the Biomedical Engineering Department for preventive maintenance :

• 
  
• preventive maintenance
  
• repair
  
• equipment condemn
  
• spare parts
  
• To monitor and ensure sufficient supply of respiratory forms
  
• To monitor and ensure supply of consumable items in the coverage areas and store room
  
• To raise CER/PR when par level is reached for consumable items as well as reagents.
  
  

Requirements:

• 
  
• Min. N/O level
  
• No experience is required as training will be provided
  
• Able to commence work on short notice
