Vessel Accountant (Shipmanagement)

Our client, a shipping company, is on the lookout for a Vessel Accountant to join their team based in their Singapore office!

Responsibilities:

• Perform accounting activities such as bookkeeping, data entry, and reporting
  
• Well-versed in handling accounts payables and receivables in the shipping industry
  
• Costing calculations on vessel revenue and voyage expenses
  
• Timely reporting to the shipowners and stakeholders
  
• Knowledge in Singapore’s accounting standards
  
• Ability to carry out other administrative duties as and when required
  

Requirements:

• Diploma and above in Accounting, Finance, or business-related degree
  
• Minimum 3 years experience working in a similar role, preferably in the shipping industry
  
• Knowledge in using accounting software or Excel
  
• Ability to communicate clearly and accurately
