Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO/Safety Officer) Responsibilities:


  • Ensure and maintain a safe working environment in compliance with all legal environmental safety regulations, standards, and practices.
  • Advise and assist the Project Manager on EHS matters.
  • Lead the safety team in the implementation and monitoring of environment, health and safety plans/ measures.
  • Conduct daily safety inspections and ensure that any unsafe act or condition is rectified.
  • Maintain, update and retain relevant records and certificates as required under the regulation required by the regulatory authorities.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, monitoring and reviewing of EHS activities, systems, programs and databases to ensure it is up to date.


Requirements:


  • Candidate must possess minimum WSH Specialist Diploma Certificate or equivalent.
  • Must be a registered WSH Officer or ECO.
  • At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Self-driven and team player, who is also able to provide leadership and mentoring to reporting team.
  • Good interpersonal skills including the ability to develop cooperative work relationship with peers and superiors.
  • Able to start work in short notice or immediately.
  • Singaporeans only.
