Assistant Project Manager

We are seeking a Assistant Project Manager to assist the Senior PM in leading and executing complex software development projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support project team members.
  
• Address team dynamics and conflicts.
  
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables with senior management.
  
• Develop comprehensive project plans including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budgets.
  
• Manage project delivery, scope control, and change management.
  
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  
• Update status reports, risks, and issues regularly.
  
• Coordinate with departments and vendors to meet milestones.
  
• Ensure client satisfaction and manage escalations.
  
• Identify and mitigate potential risks.
  
• Facilitate meetings and ensure clear communication across teams.
  
• Delegate tasks and manage resources.
  

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering/software or related field.
  
• Project Management degree or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  
• Experience in at least 1-2 software development project life cycles.
  
• Relevant project management certifications are a plus.
  
• Proven project management in software development.
  
• Client engagement expertise.
  
• Understanding of project life cycles (e.G., Waterfall, Agile).
  
• Experience in project change management.
  
• Balancing business and financial constraints.
  
• Knowledge of Project Office Admin &
  Filing systems.
  
• Setting up Project Management Repositories.
  
• Proficiency in MS Project and project S-Curve creation.
  
• Managing project risks and issues.
  
• Controlling project costs and budgets.
  
• Willing to travel on short notice.
