Credit Analyst

Our client is a local commercial bank incorporated in Singapore. They are seeking a skilled Credit Analyst to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will perform comprehensive credit analysis and reviews for prospective and existing corporate banking clients. Your role will involve making informed recommendations to mitigate risks, ensuring sound credit grading, and providing obligors and facilities.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct credit analysis and reviews independently, providing value-added recommendations to mitigate identified risks.
  
• Perform credit grading and provisioning for obligors and facilities.
  
• Act as the Secretary to the Credit Committee, ensuring compliance with procedures, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
  
• Monitor loan covenants to ensure adherence and proactively identify potential issues.
  
• Stay informed about adverse news that may impact existing borrowers.
  
• Regularly review, manage, and report on collateral valuations.
  
• Prepare comprehensive credit reports for Branch, Head Office, and regulatory bodies like MAS (Monetary Authority of Singapore).
  
• Maintain and report on the Loan Watch List, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  
• Conduct industry research and analysis reports from a credit perspective, including specific credit criteria and guidelines.
  
• Support Risk Analysts in credit risk monitoring, loan portfolio management, and stress testing.
  

Qualifications and Skills:

• Min 5 years of working experience as a Corporate Banking credit analyst in Credit Risk Management.
  
• Bilingual in English and Chinese
