Delivery Manager

What You’ll Do

• Lead the archive system team, overseeing all aspects of its operation and maintenance.
  
• Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for the archive system, including upgrades, infrastructure optimization, and feature enhancements.
  
• Advise on various archiving needs across the bank, providing technical expertise and guidance.
  
• Independently develop comprehensive requirement specifications for new features, estimating effort for informed decision-making.
  
• Prioritize features based on business value and user impact, collaborating with stakeholders and development teams.
  
• Manage upgrades, streamline pipelines, and optimize infrastructure for smooth feature delivery.
  
• Strategize, guide, and plan testing activities to ensure thorough coverage of all requirements.
  
• Provide L3 support for complex technical issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on production systems.
  
• Collaborate with L1 and L2 support teams to escalate and resolve critical incidents efficiently.
  
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify and address underlying issues, preventing recurrence.
  
• Develop, maintain, and optimize scripts to automate processes, enhance system efficiency, and support business functions.
  
• Utilize Unix shell scripting for system administration tasks, process automation, and operational support.
  
• Write and optimize SQL queries for Oracle databases, ensuring efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
  
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for support processes, incident resolutions, system configurations, and automation scripts.
  
• Prepare and present reports on incident trends, root cause analyses, and system performance metrics to stakeholders.
  
• Support release activities, including code deployments, configuration changes, system updates, and post-release monitoring.
  
• Coordinate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth, successful, and timely releases.
  
• Participate in release planning meetings to assess potential risks and impact on production systems.
  
• Leverage OpenText software solutions for document management, process automation, and data integration.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CMOD implementations and integrations.
  
• Work with the development team to integrate CMOD with existing systems and applications.
  
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the support and release management functions.
  

What Will Make You Shine

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, finance, or a related field.
  
• 10-15 years of experience in software engineering, wealth management, or a related field.
  
• Proven track record in project management, business analysis, and L3 support.
  
• Experience working effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
  
• Experience using Agile methodologies and a passion for coaching teams to improve process efficiency and performance.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication and organization abilities.
  
• Proficient in Unix/Perl/Python scripting and development, with experience in automating processes and building tools.
  
• Familiarity with CMOD software solutions for document management and process automation.
  
• Strong knowledge of Unix shell scripting for system administration and automation tasks.
  
• Extensive experience with Oracle databases, including writing and optimizing SQL queries and PL/SQL procedures.
  
• Domain Knowledge:
  
  

1. Knowledge of Investment Bank, Wealth Management, Asset Management Domain is essential.
   
2. Prior experience in client document archiving solutions is a must.
   
3. Understanding of technical aspects of system integration in a mixed technology environment.
