Financial Controller

Duties &
Responsibilities:

· Overall responsible for the financial and administrative functions of the group.

· Provide total support for all aspects of financial information needed in preparation for possible listing in foreign stock exchange.

· Responsible for monthly group consolidation of subsidiary accounts prepared by subordinate accounting staff.

· Work with Malaysia office to provide support to their queries on accounts and operations.

· Responsible for timely filing of statutory accounting reports;
preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, cash flow management, payroll, yearly budgets and projections, taxation and external audits etc.

· Prepare quarterly financial forecasts with comparison against actuals for review by the board.

· Supervise cost allocations using in-house software to ensure proper measurement of profitability of the various subsidiaries

· Support in HR functions including but not limited to:
processing payroll, managing employee leave, medical claim matters, recruitment and work pass applications.

· Responsible for all administrative, IT and support services.

· Ad hoc duties assigned by the management.

Requirements:

· Degree in Finance, Accounting, ACCA or Professional Qualification in Accountancy.

· At least 5 – 10 years of relevant work experience.

· Able to manage, guide and lead small team of finance and admin staff

· Self-starter, able to work independently and also work closely as a team member

· A hands-on person, meticulous and computer-savvy (proficient in Xero and MS Office especially Excel).

· Able to work and thrive, in a dynamic work environment.

· Possesses good oral and written communication skills
