Job Purpose:

The HR Generalist at GME Chemicals will play a vital role in enhancing employee relations and ensuring the efficiency of our HR service delivery. This position calls for an experienced individual who can manage HR operations, ensure compliance with labour laws, and support the overall HR strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding:

• Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers.
  
• Manage the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  

Employee Relations:

• Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support on HR-related matters.
  
• Assist in resolving employee issues and conflicts in a fair and timely manner, escalating to the HR Manager as necessary.
  

Performance Management:

• Support the performance management process by assisting with performance reviews, goal setting, and employee development plans.
  
• Track and document performance evaluations, ensuring timely and accurate record-keeping.
  

Benefits Administration:

• Coordinate employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-sponsored benefits.
  
• Assist employees with benefits enrolment, changes, and inquiries, providing clear and accurate information.
  

Payroll and Claims Management for Singapore:

• Oversee payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries.
  
• Manage employee claims, ensuring all claims are processed and reimbursed accurately and promptly.
  
• Maintain payroll and claim records, manage inquiries, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  

HR Compliance for Singapore:

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labour laws and regulations.
  
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, employment history, and performance data.
  

Training and Development:

• Support the implementation of training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  
• Coordinate logistics for training sessions, workshops, and other learning initiatives
  

HR Projects and Initiatives:

• Participate in various HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving HR processes and enhancing the employee experience.
  
• Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  
• 2-4 years of experience in an HR role, preferably in a similar industry.
  
• Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
