We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join us. This internship offers hands-on experience in various HR functions, providing a comprehensive understanding of HR operations. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, highly organized, and capable of handling sensitive information with confidentiality.

Responsibilities

- Coordination and administration (from on-boarding to off-boarding) and updating employee database.
- Gather monthly payroll data like leaves, working hours and employees’ bank account details and coordinating with responsible stakeholders and vendors respectively.
- Assist in preparing employment contracts, certification letters and other HR related letters.
- Prepare HR-related reports as needed.
- Assist in training administration such as collating data, sourcing for training vendors, registering courses for employees and maintaining a database of training records.
- Assist in keeping track of office supplies inventory and reorder, when necessary, work with building management &
/or contractors for office facilities maintenance.
- Participate in organizing company events and quarterly virtual employee engagement activities.
- Support other HR projects and initiatives such as group insurance renewal and employee benefits review exercise.
- Support the HR Manager to roll out HR initiatives, policies, and guidelines and assist in HR digitalization and transformation projects.
- Any other work and projects assigned by the HR Manager.
Requirements and skills:

- Currently pursuing a diploma/degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Able to commit to a 6-month internship.
- Full-time interns preferred, part-time interns who can commit to a minimum of 3 days a week are also welcome to apply.
- Attention to detail, good organizational skills, and good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful insights.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, think and problem-solve.
- Working knowledge of HRIS software can be helpful.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools
- Good understanding of full employment cycle
- Basic knowledge of labour legislation
- Good organizational skills
- BSc in Human Resources Management or similar field
