Job Title:
Inventory Specialist
Job Summary:
The Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s inventory levels to ensure efficient operation and fulfillment of customer orders. This role involves tracking inventory, ordering supplies, managing stock levels, and ensuring the accuracy of inventory records. The Inventory Specialist will work closely with various departments to ensure inventory needs are met and to streamline inventory processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular counts and reconciliation.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure they remain within set parameters.
- Implement and oversee inventory control procedures to maintain optimal inventory levels.

- Order Processing/Purchase Ordering and Goods Receipt:
- Place and track orders for inventory replenishment.
- Manage Singapore Hospitals inventory replenishment and stock rotations.
- Coordinate with suppliers, sales team and partners (4PL) to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Manage backorders and ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders.
- Purchase order processing and goods receipt.
- Place and track orders for inventory replenishment.
- Demand planning:
- Work closely with sales departments to understand inventory needs.
- Conduct periodic demand planning reviews and send order requests to Factory.
- Ensure inventory levels are appropriate to meet the future demand in best possible manner.

- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present regular inventory reports to management where necessary.

- Compliance and Quality Control:
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding inventory management.
- Conduct regular audits (where necessary) to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity.
- Address and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.

Qualifications:
- Education:
- Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience:
- Proven experience in inventory management, logistics, or a related field.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Experience in consignment inventory management.
- Proven experience in inventory management, logistics, or a related field.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Advance skill in Microsoft Excel. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook).

- Certifications:
- Certification in inventory management (e.G., Certified Inventory Specialist) is a plus.
