We have a vacancy in our Singapore office for a high-caliber individual for the following position to support about 60 colleagues in the different countries with their IT and digital infrastructure needs and to help us grow.




Roles and Responsibilities:




  • Your most important job will be to manage all the Company’s digital assets, including office computers, laptops, emails, networks, mobile devices and all computer-related software and hardware infrastructure;

  • You willalso be required to provide basic support to the office manager for the alarm systems, close circuit televisions, recording equipment and routers to ensure that they are in working condition and upgraded regularly;

  • Monitor and manage all third-party technology supplier contracts, including negotiations and monthly reviews for physical and virtual hosting suppliers, cloud computing, software application developers and contract suppliers so that they meet our service level agreements;

  • Manage interesting technology related projects that are given to your care, including third party software development to improve the productivity of the Company;

  • Manage and support all the Company’s websites, including ensuring 24X7 availability, website security, password access, url renewals and administration as well as support our social media teams,
  • Support all the Company’s Databases and Content Management Systems, including ensuring daily physical and/virtual backups, availability and integration with third party systems.
  • Manage the Security of all websites, databases, physical NAS, firewalls and physical premises by investing in regular upgrades, testing against hack attempts and conducting forensics on attempts to heck the systems.


Job Qualifications




We believe that the following are the qualifications that you should have in applying for this job:


  • Recognised Bachelor's or Polytechnic Degree in IT. An MCSA, MCSE, CCNA or equivalent certification will be an added advantage;

  • Proven work experience and have at least 3-4 years of working experience in IT Operations support;

  • Strong project management skills, able to balance day-to-day operations with development tasks, work independently, take ownership of tasks and deliver outcomes in a timely manner;

  • Good verbal and written communication skills;

Based on the above qualifications, the Core Skills required for this job are as follows:


  • Basic computing knowledge and skill to problem solve and support the IT and social media teams.
  • Basic project management skills in overseeing third party contractors and in-house application development staff to complete their projects.
  • Problem solving skills on a daily basis, and contributing to management decision making in planning and building the technology infrastructure;

  • Ability to document standard operating procedures, processes, and work instruction for the benefit of your colleagues.
  • Teamworking and dependability in supporting the rest of your colleagues in their work;


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)


We will measure you on the following KPIs based on the job you will be doing every day:


  • Daily support of your colleagues for their everyday IT installation, networking, inventory control and trouble-shooting needs.
  • Managing all IT-based third-party relationships to ensure they meet their contractual obligations on a continuing basis.
  • Managing new development work to introduce bespoke applications to meeting the Company’s growing needs.
  • Supporting the management in their decision making needs.
  • Contributing to the overall goodwill and reputation of the Company, and its growth as a leading player in the market.
