about the Job

The IT Business Analyst will manage support operations, handling requests, incidents, issues, and tickets to ensure top-tier service for end-users. lead a development team in creating COBOL (or CICS-COBOL) programs aligned with detailed functional and technical specifications. Responsibilities include drafting precise program specifications, documentation, and flowcharts for effective implementation. Conduct rigorous unit and system integration testing to validate functionality and seamless integration. This role integrates strategic support management, development leadership, and meticulous technical oversight to deliver robust solutions.

Skills and experience required

• Lead technical analysis of stakeholder requirements, crafting innovative design and development solutions to enhance global markets technology and align with Front Office expectations.
  
• Oversee the end-to-end delivery and maintenance of the Global Markets platform (Murex), ensuring rigorous adherence to functional specifications and efficient deployment practices.
  
• Develop and execute comprehensive testing protocols for deliverables, steering formal release cycles (SIT/UAT) to uphold system reliability and performance benchmarks.
  
• Resolve intricate technical challenges impacting Front Office operations, encompassing P&
  L management, Market Data integration, and transactional integrity.
  
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to architect domain-specific roadmaps that integrate future-state technology visions with operational realities.
  
• Effectively communicate technical principles, standards, and roadmap strategies to stakeholders, fostering alignment with strategic business objectives.
  
• Leverage advanced proficiency in Oracle database management and PL/SQL to optimize data handling capabilities and operational efficiencies.
  
• Harness advanced programming expertise in JavaScript, C++, or Python to drive continuous innovation and expand platform functionalities.
  
• Proficient in both Waterfall and Agile/Scrum project methodologies.
  
• Conduct data analysis using SQL, PL/SQL, and APIs to identify gaps and recommend enhancements.
