Kitchen Assistant

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be punctual, physically capable of standing for extended periods, and committed to maintaining the efficiency and cleanliness of our kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure punctual attendance to support the smooth operation of our small kitchen team.
- Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations.
- Support kitchen staff in executing culinary tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Assist in inventory management and stocking of supplies as needed.
- Follow instructions to ensure consistent quality and presentation of dishes.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

Requirements:
- Proven experience working in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 6 hours) and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
- Food handler's certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
