Mechanical Design (Automation) Engineer

You will be part of the Engineering team to perform machinery design, supervising and handling of fabrication with sub-fabricators and suppliers, machinery installation, test and commissioning.

THE ROLE:

1. Conduct all aspects of project engineering activities include attendance to technical meeting and discussion with client, and occasional overseas travel to support our regional market.

2. Comprehend and produce mechanical design and shop drawings.

3. Design automated machine includes material handling, material feeding system, material pick and place system, jigs and fixtures. This role also involves steel structure design, process piping design, static equipment like tanks and vessel design.

4. Candidate with prior experiences shall design and build customized solutions, perform equipment integration and participate in the role of project management.

5. Candidate shall be exposed to project cost management, plan work schedule, supervise and control contractors to carry out their works accurately and timely in accordance to the contract drawings, specifications and approved QA/ QC checklists.

THE PERSON:

* Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or its equivalent.

* Work experience in related field of Solids Bulk Handling and Packaging Machines

* Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

* Possess good communication and facilitation skills.

* Valid Class 3 driving license in Singapore as added advantage.

* Hands-on, practical and independent person who is able to travel
