Network Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Provide support for current and future enterprise systems
  
• Adherence to the administration of Global - IT security policies, procedures, best practices and esatablished standards
  
• Participate in the optimization of IT Infrastructure implementations, forecasting and maintenance
  
• Provide management with ways to improve administration, monitoring, reporting and standard operating procedures
  
• Implement and maintain network hardware based on the IT initiatives and required upgrade projects within the organization
  
• Design, plan, install, review and evaluate wired and wireless network infrastructure
  
• Troubleshoot network systems including any reported routing or switching problems and recommend improvements required to enhance performance
  
• Implement and/or change router/switch configurations
  
• Provide network-monitoring services utilizing various network management tools
  
• Work with vendors and customers to minimize and/or plan downtime
  
• Provide documentation and diagrams for all network projects that will be used for disaster recovery readiness on an ongoing basis
  

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor in computer science, network or equivalent technical discipline.
  
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience
  
• Experience with various network monitoring tools and methodologies
