Job Summary
The Product Owner (PO) - Client Trade Analytics is part of the CIB (Corporate &
Investment Banking) Data Solutions and Analytics team in Digital Channels and Data Analytics (DCDA) department. The PO is responsible for an overall vision and strategy of the entire digital insights and offerings across Trade products. The PO will lead a cross-functional teams and play a vital role in the solutioning &
development of the analytics and insights feeding into Straight2Bank Platform.
Straight2Bank is a fully integrated digital internet banking service, track your business transactions, hedging &
other online business needs. The platform is a global platform for Standard Chartered Bank and being used by users across all CIB markets.
Working closely with a diverse set of specialists, including technology delivery team, designer, and subject matter experts across banking domains, you will internalise complex information about products and services to make them understandable to real humans and manage delivery of these features under the agile framework.
Since this role is fully focused on solving problems for customers and business alike, it requires empathy and business understanding in equal parts.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy
- Define the product vision and strategy of the Trade analytics and insights along Business Stakeholder, Banking Domain leads and Straight2Bank CPO Trade and ensure alignment with the Bank's strategy
- Understand the use cases (roles, personas, pain points) and assist the network of Product Owners to finetune their requirements gathering, articulating user-stories for identified features
- Create a single, prioritized backlog for the network of the Product Owners to decompose and maintain the single product roadmap across Trade Analytics domain in CIB
- Work with our software engineering team, UI/visual designers, Content Managers to establish principles and standards for the platform ensuring the feasibility of design and implementation
Business
- Set a strategic vision for the whole Scrum of Scrum
- Works with the network of your squads on a daily basis to assist with impediment removal, product backlog refinement, and release planning
- Collaborate implementation of features using agile methodology and work closely with all stakeholders to facilitate delivery
- Develop rollout plan, pre / post implementation activities in conjunction with Adoption team at the platform level
- Work with Trade Product partner to generate insights at Scale feeding into Straight2Bank
- Research and analyse industry platform support &
service and conduct competitor analysis in order to turn them into user insights
- Lead user research and testing activities to continue raising the bar for your workstream
- Regular review of usage data to analyse user behaviour and pain points
Processes
- Work closely with CPO Straight2Bank Trade and the support teams (user and technical teams) to finetune service model for the Platform overtime in line with the Bank's standards
- Lead execution of the service model and conduct assessment of the process and support teams involved end to end
- Establishes and monitor effectiveness metrics
- Lead engagement with DCDA PMO and respective forums for your workstream
- Lead resources and financial management of your respective workstream

Our Ideal Candidate
- A university degree holder
- 8 years of working experience in a product owner role
- 5 years of direct experience in end-to-end product design and development, such as developing user requirements, business analysis, UI/UX design and programming
- A Certified Scrum Product Owner certificate holder is a plus
- A knowledge in Google Analytics is a plus
- Good understanding of Agile Software Development Lifecycle
- Knowledge in Trade Finance Product is a plus
- Experience with ADO and other design tools such as Sketch, Zeplin, or Invision
