A Corp Lab in NTU is looking for a Research Engineer I or II to conduct advanced research in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Generative AI, with a focus on developing a comprehensive knowledge graph of world knowledge. The project involves leveraging cutting-edge techniques in AI to build models that can generate human-like language for complex reasoning, contributing to the University's mission of advancing knowledge and understanding in these fields. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in expanding the University's research capabilities, ultimately enhancing its reputation as a leader in AI research and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing NLP applications and knowledge graphs.
- Conduct literature reviews, analyze research papers, and contribute to research ideas related to the fields of generative AI, world knowledge base and complex reasoning.
- Develop and implement NLP and Generative AI models to address research objectives and improve existing algorithms.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in natural language processing, machine learning, and deep learning.
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Ability to analyze complex problems, identify patterns, and derive meaningful insights from data.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ for implementing NLP and Generative AI algorithms.
- Understanding of NLP concepts, machine learning algorithms, and their applications in text processing and generation.
- Capacity to address research challenges creatively and develop innovative solutions.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for documenting research findings and presenting them to diverse audiences.
