Our global client is seeking for a talented and analytical Sales Operations Manager to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital role in leveraging data to drive sales performance and strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for generating insightful reports, uncovering trends, and partnering with Sales Leadership to develop actionable recommendations. This is a regional role, covering 11 markets in ASIA Pacific.




Roles and responsibilities.




Technical Prowess


Proficiency in using a wide range of Excel functions and formulas for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization. This includes things like VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, PivotTables, conditional formatting, and macros.


The ability to build financial models and sales forecasts using Excel.




Analytics Skills:


  • Data Analysis:
    Strong analytical skills to identify patterns, trends, and insights from sales data.
  • Problem-solving:
    Ability to use data analysis to solve sales-related problems and identify areas for improvement.
  • Reporting:
    Experience in creating clear and concise reports that communicate sales data and insights to stakeholders.
  • Data Visualization:
    Skills in using charts and graphs to effectively visualize sales data for better understanding.
  • Understanding of Sales Metrics:
    Familiarity with key sales performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, win rates, and sales cycle length.
  • Business Acumen:
    A basic understanding of business concepts like revenue, cost, and profitability is helpful.
  • Salesforce or CRM Experience:
    Understanding of how sales data is structured in a CRM system like Salesforce would be a plus.
  • Business Intelligence (BI) Tools:
    Familiarity with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI would be highly valued.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.G., Marketing, Finance) to ensure data integrity and alignment.
  • Strong business acumen.




Beyond the Data:


  • Go beyond reporting the "
    What"
    and provide the "
    Why."
    Don't just present the data;
    explain the insights and their business implications.
  • Develop action plans based on your findings. Don't just identify problems;
    recommend specific actions the sales team can take to address them.
  • Be a strategic partner to sales leadership. Become a trusted advisor who can help sales leadership make data-driven decisions to achieve their goals.
