Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret construction drawings and plans to accurately calculate material quantities needed for projects.
  
• Source and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to meet project needs.
  
• Prepare comprehensive documentation and competitive bids for tender submissions.
  
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotations and manage procurement processes.
  
• Maintain continuous communication with consultants and subcontractors regarding progress claims, variation works, and finalizing accounts.
  
• Oversee and mentor junior quantity surveyors, providing guidance and support as needed.
  
• Ensure compliance with relevant local forms of contracts (e.G., PSSCOC, SIA).
  
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management to ensure project success.

• Minimum Diploma/ Degree in Building/ QS or equivalent.
  
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant working experience in quantity surveying.
  
• Possess knowledge for local form of contracts (i.E. PSSCOC, SIA &
  etc.).
  
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
  
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
