Service Executive Part Time

As a Service Executive Part time at KC Dining, you will play an important role in our Bar and Restaurant operations and influence the business overall. You will have the opportunity to work alongside our dedicated Kitchen Culinary and Service teams in creating and delivering exceptional full service Bar and Japanese Fusion Izakaya experience to our customers. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Service team to deliver a high standard of customer service every day.
  
• Ensure at all times a clean, organized and safe Restaurant and Bar workspace in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards which may include cleaning glasses, dishes and implements plus sanitising floors and guest toilets.
  
• Work with senior staff to open up and close the premises and setup for service.
  
• Ensure the Restaurant and Bar has sufficient inventory of stock-in-trade and ancillary items at all times participating in regular stocktakes;
  
  
• Learn how to maintain and manage relationships with all suppliers keeping an eye on the value of each vis-à-vis alternative suppliers;
  
  
• Show willingness to assist new service staff where required and embrace continuous professional development.
  
• Show initiative in assisting the creation of new menu items for drinks and/or innovative fusion culinary ideas.
  
• Work with the owners and Chefs from time to time to ensure targets are being met and how we can improve.
  
• Contribute everyday to the positive and collaborative bar and restaurant service we at Dark Horse aspire to deliver.
  

Hours of work:

As a Part Time Service Executive your hours of work will be as agreed with Directors with expectations daily between 11.00am and 3.00pm each weekday for Lunch service or 5.00pm to up to 11pm (with 2 hours rest time on premises in the afternoon should a double shift lunch and dinner on any single day). Note - As the Bar is open all afternoon on weekdays, at least 1 staff must be available to maintain the Bar service at all times during the work day.

Saturdays we are open 4pm to 12pm and you may be asked to work the full evening. Sundays we are closed at the moment except for special Events. Working hours should be flexible so that no Service team member’s time does not exceed 9 hours any single day.

Benefits:

• As a Service Executive your wage will be S$14 per hour ( or more depending on prior work experience) paid each mid-month and end of month.
  
• CPF contributions calculated and paid in accordance with Singapore laws.
  
• Any additional working hours for events on weekends will be paid at a rate of $15 per hour;
  
  
• 10 Days Annual leave (not to be taken when other Service staff away) times to be agreed with Manager / Director.
