Software And Application Manager

Responsibilities:

• Propose technical and creative business solutions in support of sales activities.
  
• Act as Professional Services / Consulting role that is client facing and involve in sales scenarios to present technical and business aspects of proposed solutions to a C-Level audience.
  
• Design and deliver high quality technical Proof of Concepts for prospective customers
  
• Assist in the production of RFPs and other proposals to clients.
  
• Translate requirement specifications into PeopleSoft ERP process model prototypes and solutions. Preparing high level technical specifications for the solutions.
  
• Design and develop technical solutions based on the requirements gathered. Designing data models. Defining architectural &
  development standards for the project in adherence to best practices.
  
• Design and implement complex enterprise integrations with industry standard technologies including LDAP, Active Directory and other internal systems in the enterprise.
  
• Design integration requirements with other third-party enterprise platforms such as Workday, SalesForce.Com and etc.
  
• Configure, debug, unit, systems, integration test and document new flow but not limited to forms, reports, underlying logic and interface components on development as assigned
  
• Performing frequent code reviews &
  ensuring quality of theoverall delivery.
  
• Assist quality assurance team, system engineers, network engineers and other staff in ways to ensure data integrity, consistency, security and privacy
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the PeopleSoft environment which include networks, software, hardware, and operating systems;
  
  
• Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies for PeopleSoft databases and applications
  
• Maintain documentation related to the PeopleSoft environment, including configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guide and keep documentation up-to-date with any changes or enhancements.
  

Requirements:

• Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related study.
  
• 8 to 12 years of software development experience and at least 6 years of experience in PeopleSoft ERP solutions design, development, administration and support.
  
• Subject matter expert technical skills knowledge on PeopleSoft components such as PeopleTools, WebLogic server, Tuxedo, Process Scheduler, Integration Broker, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and middleware server.
  
• Prior work experience in development of SOAP and Restful web services and integration is preferred.
  
• Experience in Microsoft SQL database and Azure Cloud is an added advantage.
  
• Good knowledge in PowerShell script
  
• Strong experience as a successful Presales Engineer or a Professional Services/Consulting role that is client facing. Must be able to do custom POCs and demos.
  
• Strong technical and analytical skills, meticulous and organized.
