Solution Architect

Responsibilities :

· The Managed Services and DevOps Solution Architect will be part of a group of technical experts within S&
I Infrastructure Technology team. The role serves as the deep Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the development of managed services and DevOps Transformation solutions which includes multi/hybrid cloud design and implementation.

· This role will work closely with sales teams to provide solution proposal and pre-sales technical support to clients by identifying the client’s requirements and designing a commercially viable IT Infrastructure solution from within the company’s product portfolio.

· Take a leading role in provide expert technical presales support for opportunities involving managed services and DevOps solution.

· Work closely with the sales team on early engagement with customer in selling managed services and DevOps solution.

· Attend meetings with potential clients to understand and gather customer requirements and offer complete &
cost-effective solution.

· Work closely with vendors channel partners, and technology partners to prepare solution write-up, bill of material and engage Service Delivery team for professional effort.

· Create architecture artefacts and documentation to effectively explain architecture design concepts and solutions to various level of stakeholders.

· Conduct / Lead in product presentations and demonstrations, and provide support at external and internal customer facing events;

· Upon contract award;
conduct transition/ handover and briefing to project implementation team on the overall solution and design.

· Lead and manage product demos and POCs;

· Keep abreast of product technology and certifications. Keep updated of the latest technology and develop technical capability slides.

· Identify potential and emerging technologies relevant to innovation

Requirements :

· You possess a Bachelor in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineer, Information Technology or related discipline

· Possess active professional DevOps certifications (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud / industry standard)

· At least 3 years of experience and strong knowledge in Digital Transformation, Cloud Migration, well-architected Cloud Framework, Day0-1-2-3 Cloud Ops in the market.

· Strong knowledge of Container &
Modern technologies (Dockers, Kubernetes, AWS ECS, Google Cloud Anthos)

· At least 5 years managed services and DevOps experience in building enterprise CI/CD architecture.

· At least 3 years’ experience in designing solutions for deployed environments (Cloud, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Backup &
DR, etc.) on public clouds solution provider (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)

· Good knowledge of best practices, system design, continuous integration, continuous delivery, automation and configuration tools, testing, tool integrations

· Good knowledge of container orchestration, cloud solutions and services in a hybrid cloud environment.

· Customer service oriented, good team player, technically inclined

Required Skills:

· Possess hands-on experience and good technical skills with proven track records inbuilding enterprise CI/CD architecture such as

Cloud infrastructure (IaaS/PaaS) such as Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.

Container technologies like Dockers and Kubernetes.

Azure, Windows Server and network.

· At least 5 years of experience supporting GitOps / DevOps / DevSecOps

· Hands-on experience with implementing GitOps using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git

· Solid experience with PaaS using Red Hat OpenShift, Google Kubernetes Engine or other Kubernetes platforms, and Docker containers

· Experience with Helm

· Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, CloudFormation, Deployment Manager, Terraform)

· Experience with software development using modern front end technologies, Microservice architecture / RESTful web service, API Management, relational databases, or SQL

· Experience in Service Mesh technologies such as Istio or OpenShift Service Mesh.

· Knowledge in Big Data, Analytics, Application Modernization, and other edge computing technologies

· Experience migrating legacy applications to containerized solutions such as OpenShift or Kubernetes

· Experience with monitoring, scalability, application reliability tools
