Staff Software Engineer

We are working with a leading payment start-up in web3 who has raised over 14M and already have the MPI approvied. They are looking for a Lead Engineer with solid experience in Go.

What you will do:

• Design and develop robust, scalable software solutions using Golang, ensuring high performance and security for both fiat and cryptocurrency transactions.
  
• Lead the development of real-time, distributed systems to enhance our ability to process millions of transactions swiftly and reliably.
  
• Utilize Kubernetes for orchestrating containerized applications, ensuring optimal deployment, scaling, and management across our cloud infrastructure.
  
• Advocate and implement best practices in software architecture, prioritizing system resilience and idempotency to guarantee uninterrupted service.
  
• Mentor and inspire the development team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features, adhering to industry standards and regulations, especially concerning fiat and cryptocurrency transactions.
  

What we look for:

• Extensive experience (minimum 7 years) as a software developer, with a strong portfolio in Golang.
  
• Solid background in software architecture, focusing on designing systems for high availability, scalability, and security, specifically for payment processing.
  
• Knowledgeable about the payment industry, with a particular interest in the integration and processing of both fiat and cryptocurrency.
  
• Proven ability to mentor a team toward achieving excellence.
  
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a talent for developing innovative and efficient solutions.
