Test Analyst

About the Client:

Our client is a reputed IT Service company in banking and financial domain.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse "
  To be"
  businessand operations processes based on the agreed requirements and / or function points, determine the areas of impact and overall high level solution
  
• Monitor and manage risks /issues related to requirements and scope
  
• Creation of test scenarios, scripts and testers with reference to functional and user specifications documents for UAT
  
• Execution of UAT test cases
  
• Log, manage and close system defects in HPQC
  
• Team player to help with knowledge transfer to new testers that are onboarded
  
• Document all test results.
  
• Provide updates on testing progress
  
• Write business functional release notes and contribute to deployment plan
  
• Transition functional and non-functional requirements to System Analysts, and ensure a clear and complete understanding of the requirements
  
• Work with Test Manager to translate business requirements into test scenarios
  
• Clarify test findings escalated by Test Manager and classify the findings accordingly (either as a defect or change request)
  
• Perform initial impact assessment and high level estimation for Project Change Request
  

Requirement:

· Minimum 3 years of relevant banking and/or consulting experience

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering/ business/ finance or equivalent

· Experience in T24 and Wealth management

· Experience into UAT testing

· Logical and structured thinking skills to plan verification of test cases from frontend to backend

· ability to articulate defects and test scenarios with internal stakeholders including IT teams.

· Good knowledge of Securities, Derivatives, and Treasury products

· good knowledge and work experience in Temenos Wealth Suite (T24, TAP)

· good experience in Test Management tools like ALM &
JIRA
