The Role


Finance and Administrative Manager is responsible for the improvement of financial performance and business strategy of the company. The individual willbe responsible to assist senior managements on their business decision making by carrying out day-to-day financial activities and reporting as required by the managements. Also responsible to convey Japan Post’s requirements etc. to the senior managements of Toll by acting as a liaison between Toll and Japan Post.




  • Convey business policy, strategy, requirement, and instruction given by Japan Post to Toll senior management and support vital communication between Japan Post and Toll
  • Support executing and performing and to monitor the progress of the planned group strategy. Report financial performance/profitable information for the shareholder to conduct the important business judgement by grasping and analyzing the progress of Toll group’s financial initiatives
  • Support and liaise with financial reporting toward Japan Post;
    a 100% shareholder of Toll. Develop the overall corporate financial targets and standards by establishing organizational objectives, policies, and programs
  • Set budgetary controls and oversee the preparation of consolidated budgets, reports, and forecasts and present them with recommendations to the board. Implement strategic and financial plans
  • Provide financial assessments and information to local and global management to establish new business and expansion programs. Support planning the group strategy, such as corporate restructuring, cost control, tax management, cash management, etc., while considering the interests of the shareholder
  • Authorise funds to implement new policies, programs, and businessstrategies
  • Prepare proposals and initiatives to support business expansion and new business ventures
  • Monitor market trends for market development and expansion activities. Liaise with industry associations, government representatives, and related entities within the Japan Post group




To Be Successful, you will need:


  • Native level of Japanese language skill (written and oral)
  • Sound English skill (written and oral)
  • Knowledge on business and operations run by Japan Post in Japan
  • Working experience in logistics/transport industry
  • Experience of working closely with subsidiary management related members at Japanese company
  • Knowledge of Australian, Singaporean and Japanese Standards
  • Experience of analysing and appraising financial reports
