Requirement


  • Accounting/Finance degree or equivalent professional qualifications with at least 8 years of relevant working experience
  • Chartered Accountant/ Certified Public Accountant would be an advantage
  • In-depth understanding of SFRS(I) requirements and familiarity with financial and management reporting. Experience with SGX-listed companies is a significant advantage.
  • Proficient in establishing and maintaining robust internal controls.
  • Strong business insight with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate expertise in finance operations and processes.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of transforming financial data into actionable business insights.


Description


  • Able to perform full set of accounts and ensure that it is in compliance with respective local and group accounting standards
  • Ensure compliance with internal control requirements including financial and operational policies and procedures
  • Responsible for financial and management reporting
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and Group accounting policies
  • Overseeing all financial control activities, including the review and analysis of monthly and quarterly numbers and disclosures
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, and coordinate submission of tax returns, where applicable, with an external consultant
  • Oversee and manage the Finance Team to ensure smooth flow and timeliness of financial operations
  • Work with Country CEO/COO and across departments to engage Head of Departments (HODs) and teams to prepare and review financial budgets, forecasts and decisions where required
  • Review and manage account payables and receivables on inter-company agreements
  • Strategic partner with HODs to review revenues strategies and budgeting for new and existing services
  • Align and manage Finance Team to country strategies and goals
  • Lead in the smooth incorporation of new process flows for incorporation of new services
  • Create, test and review functional requirements and refine financial operating systems where necessary
  • Process efficiency analysis for existing finance operations
  • Manage the Credit Control function and the robustness and integrity of its processes
  • Work with the credit control manager to attain collection targets
  • Growth, alignment and training of staff
  • Succession planning and coaching
  • Participate and prepare for new projects, digitization efforts, new services as and when required
  • Monitor process deviations and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Set and monitor departmental quality and customer centric objectives
