Job Duties:
- Oversee the acquisition and development of software systems in organisational units.
- Monitor the results and quality of the different software solutions and projects implemented in the organisation.
- Oversee the development of Proof-of-Concept/ solutions and provide technical expertise on the development of software and platform features, ensuring that appropriate security and risk factors are considered.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in implementing Data Warehousing projects in Finance, Credit Risk &
Compliance domains
- Data Warehousing Expertise:
experience of implementing large data warehouses based on Hadoop, Teradata, SAS, Oracle including data modelling, using ETL tools like Informatica PowerCenter, SSIS &
visualization Tools
- Demonstrated proficiency in project management methodologies (e.G., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum) and tools (e.G., JIRA, MS Project).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges related to metadata quality, data lineage accuracy, and overall data governance effectiveness.
- Extensive Good Knowledge in Teradata Technology &
Ecosystem components.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with attention to details.
- Project planning, tracking, budget management and triple constraint (Scope, time &
cost).
- Worked with C-Level executives to create the vision and goals of the project and acted as a voice of customer to ensure quick business adoption.
- Manage change management, resourcing, knowledge management and project governance.
- Manage multiple projects at a time with huge volume of data and end to end implementation from data sourcing to reporting using PBI.
- Possess strong problem solving and decision-making skills while exercising good judgment
- Ability to work on multiple projects at a time with teams distributed across multiple locations
Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
